5. Eric Stephens

His breakout season was cut short by injury, but Stephens still makes this list as one of the most dynamic and exciting running backs in the recent school history.

In 2011, Stephens was poised to break the 1,000 yard rushing mark with four 100-yard+ rushing performances in the first five games before his season was abruptly ended by a knee injury against Texas A&M. He only played sparingly the next season, but he still managed to end his career with 1,967 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns over four years.
