A fan favorite in Lubbock for a variety of reasons outside football, Batch is currently best known for his entrepreneurial endeavors and artistry.
His name, now synonymous with art, poetry and salsa, was made on the Red Raider football field. “I wasn’t the biggest, fastest or strongest, but I was always the absolute meanest…”. That’s probably the best way Batch could describe his four years as a Red Raider running back, during which he amassed 3,612 all-purpose yards and scored 32 touchdowns.
