10: No. 2 Texas 52, No. 10 Texas Tech 17 (2005)

Sitting pretty at 6-0 and feeling good, Texas Tech suffered their first loss of the 2005 season in blowout fashion at the hands of their arch enemy.

Tech was trying to start 7-0 for the first time since 1976 and move into the Big 12 title conversation, but the Longhorns (who were beating teams by an average of 37 points per game) were just too much.

Vince Young and the Horns took a commanding 31-10 lead over Cody Hodges and the undefeated Red Raiders in the first half and never looked back on their way to the national title.
