Best special teams player: Kenny Williams
The special teams struggled a lot this season, but Williams had two phenomenal plays on fake punts in key situations late in the season. The first came against Iowa State when Williams received the snap as the upback and ran 44 yards down the field before being tackled just shy of the end zone.
In the season finale against Baylor, instead of punting the ball away, Taylor Symmank and Williams kept the drive alive with a quick fake-punt-pass that picked up the first down. Tech eventually scored after both plays.
