Keenan Evans

Keenan Evans flashed moments of brilliance as the season came to an end.  And the season finale was a great example of what the youngster from Richardson, TX is capable of.  In only 20 minutes, Evans scored 15 points, dished out three assists and did not turn the ball over.

Evans has an explosive first step and can beat defenders off the dribble.  But the true freshman had more turnovers than assists this season, and his ball security must improve for him to be a reliable option at point guard.  He must also learn the intricacies of Tubby Smith’s system to minimize mistakes on both ends of the floor.
