The Jayhawks have indefinitely suspended its 2014 rushing leader in Corey Avery, and his return will be left up to the discretion of Head Coach David Beaty. Luckily for KU, backup, DeAndre Mann actually had a better yards-per-carry average at 4.7 than Corey Avery (4.2). The primary backup for Mann may be JUCO transfer Ke’aun Kinner from Navarro College, where he finished third all-time in career rushing yards. In high school, Kinner averaged 266-yards per game.
