The Bears return all three of its top running backs for 2015. They have a relatively good balance of power and speed, with Devin Chafin, Shock Linwood, and Johnny Jefferson. While all three backs had five or more yards-per-touch this season, the trio combined for only one carry of more than 40-yards. That may change this year however, if Head Coach Art Briles decides to play four star running back JaMycal Hasty. The Longview, TX product recorded a 4.29-second 40 yard dash at the Army All-American combine, and as long as he does not redshirt, he will get the chance to run behind an offensive line that returns all five starters.
