No. 28 — Lloyd Hill (WR 1990 – 1993):
A west Texas native turned Red Raider hero, Lloyd Hill left Texas Tech as the school’s all-time leader in receptions (189), yards (3,059) and touchdowns (20). In 1992, the Odessa native led the nation in receptions and set school records for single-season receptions (76), yards (1,261) and touchdowns (12) on his way to being named an All-American.
The two-time All Southwest Conference receiver was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round of the 1994 NFL draft. Hill averaged 16.2-yards per catch, 69.5-yards per game, and 764.7-yards per season during his decorated career in Lubbock.
