The Cowboys had a pretty rough season in 2014, giving up almost 270 passing yards per game, landing them at eighth in the conference. The team seemed to fall apart half-way through the season, and the secondary seemed to fall in line.

If the team can reach their full potential, the secondary should be a big reason why they succeed. The defensive backfield is full of young talent, returning all four starters from 2014, plus Ashton Lampkin coming back from a season-ending injury he suffered in the Texas Tech game.
