This is a no-brainer. The Sooners have a stout corps of linebackers that are all very well-rounded athletes.

Eric Striker emerged during the 2013 season as one of the best pass-rushing linebackers in the country, before having a mortal 2014 season in which he still earned a First-Team All-Big 12 selection. Devante Bond will play the other outside linebacker position after earning the starting nod in the final three weeks of the season and having to play behind a very talented Geneo Grissom.

The Sooners also have three of the best middle linebackers in the conference in Dominique Alexander, Frank Shannon, and Jordan Evans. Alexander should get the starting job at one MLB spot, with Shannon trying to unseat Jordan Evans at the other after serving a suspension in 2014.

Playing behind a weakened defensive line will not be ideal after losing Jordan Phillips and Chuka Ndule to the NFL, but Charles Tapper is one season saltier, and the Oklahoma pass rush will be a thing to behold in 2015.
