No. 2: Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State brings back two solid linebackers in Ryan Simmons and Seth Jacobs.

Simmons is a rock, as he will be a third-year starter, and Jacobs is poised for a breakout season. In 2014, he forced turnovers on some of the nation’s best: an interception against Jameis Winston in the new Cowboys Stadium, and a forced fumble against Samaje Perine, who holds the NCAA single-game rushing record. He also earned the Cactus Bowl Defensive MVP and looks to build off of that performance in 2015.

The third linebacker position is less certain, with Jordan Burton getting the nod at the star spot. But look out for former four-star linebacker Gyasi Akem, as he jumps into his second college football season.
