No. 25 Brandon Carter (Offensive Tackle 2006-2009)

Easily the most recognizable Red Raider in history, the man with the Mohawk haircut and painted face is No. 25 on the list of all-time Red Raiders. But Carter was more than a sideshow oddity; he was a terrific football player.

In 2008, Carter was named an all-American as part of the Texas Tech offensive line that paved the way for the Red Raiders to climb to a program best No. 2 in the national polls.

Carter was also the emotional leader for Texas Tech. His passion and fire were evident to all fans making him one of the most beloved Red Raiders in recent memory. After his collegiate career, Carter spent a few years chasing his dream of becoming a professional wrestler, after all, he had already perfected the look while at Texas Tech.
