 1. T.J. Vasher – Wide Receiver

Texas Tech’s wide-open offense in 2015 was near-prolific behind the play of guys like Patrick Mahomes, DeAndre Washington, and Jakeem Grant. However, a case could be made that when the offense did struggle, it was usually concerned the outside receiving production (or lack thereof).

In 2015 the Red Raiders found little success against teams with taller, more physical defensive backs.

The signing of Vasher hopes to change all of that in 2016. The 6’5″, four-star wideout has the height and reach that Texas Tech so desperately needs in the pass-happy Big XII.

A man of his word since June of 2015, Vasher’s commitment to the Red Raiders has been solid throughout his recruitment process, a rare feat in today’s world.

Vasher chose Texas Tech over offers from eight other schools, including Ohio State, Houston, Ole Miss, and SMU, according to 247sports.com.
