No. 2: 14 points and 5 rebounds against Oklahoma in 2018

Though it is hard to believe it now, just over a year ago, Chris Beard’s team was still fighting to gain respect as a true contender in the Big 12.  That’s why Tech’s 88-78 win over OU in Lubbock was so critical.

In a nationally televised game that featured two of the nation’s top point guards in Tech’s Keenan Evans and OU’s Trae Young, Odiase was a key contributor with 14 points and five rebounds, including four offensive rebounds.  Though Evans was the star with 26 points, Odaise was huge in setting the tone of the game with a number of hustle plays that did not show up in the box score.

"“I try to get my team going by playing hard and selling out.” Odiase said after the game.  “Everybody sells out so it really helped tonight.”"

And with just over four minutes to play, the big man scored five consecutive points to put the Red Raiders up by six points.  It resulted in a season-high in points for Odiase and helped propel the Red Raiders to a huge Big 12 win that was seen by a national audience as the Red Raiders took a critical step towards becoming a true Big 12 contender.
