OL: Charles Odiorne, Jack Anderson, Toby Cecil, Marlon Winn, Madison Akamnonu

Protecting Graham Harrell would be an offensive line of Charles Odiorne, Jack Anderson, Toby Cecil, Marlon Winn, and Madison Akamnonu.

Hurst native Odiorne earned all-American honors in 1989.  He is one of only five Red Raider offensive linemen to earn that distinction.  The 6-foot-4, 280-pound tackle was part of a dominant Red Raider o-line in the late 1980s.

The other tackle would be Waxahachie’s Marlon Winn.  Earning All-Big 12 honorable mention in his last three seasons as a Red Raider (2007-09), he was part of two of the most memorable seasons in program history and one of the most controversial as well, the final year of the Mike Leach era which was Winn’s senior campaign.

At guard would be the two starting guards for the 2019 Red Raiders, Jack Anderson and Madison Akamnonu.  Anderson will be a third-year starter this season and could be an early entrant in the 2020 NFL Draft.  The native of Frisco is already among the best guards in program history having started every game of his career.

Akamnou was a 4-star recruit out of Arlington in 2015.  The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder has started 27 games in his career.  In 2017 he was named a Big 12 honorable mention honoree.

Anchoring this line would be Toby Cecil from Richardson.  Starting 50 games at center from 2000-2003, he is the most experienced Red Raider ever to play that position and also one of the best.  Like Winn, he also earned honorable mention all-conference honors his last three seasons at Tech.

In addition to Akamnonu and Anderson, the other DFW offensive linemen on the current roster include guard Demarcus Marshall from Grand Prairie, center/guard Dawson Deaton from Frisco, tackles Clayton Franks from Mansfield and Casey Verhulst from Plano, and center Bailey Smith from Lucas.
