Kerry Hyder, DT, San Francisco 49ers

After bouncing around the league as a backup since entering in 2015, Hyder looks to have found a more permanent home in San Francisco. He enters his second season as a 49er playing on one of the best defensive lines in the NFL with the likes of Nick Bosa and Arik Armstead. According to the 49ers’ most recent depth chart on their website, Hyder is listed as the third defensive end behind Samson Ebukam and rookie Drake Johnson. As San Francisco looks to make another deep playoff run, the team will need Hyder to contribute more as a good rotational option on the defensive line.

Terence Steele, OT, Dallas Cowboys

Terence Steele is entering his third season in Dallas after signing as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Steele was forced into action that season due to multiple injuries at tackle and again last season when La’el Collins missed time due to suspension and Tyron Smith due to on and off injuries. Steele is now the clear-cut starter at right tackle now that Collins has been released and may be asked to help again at left tackle due to Smith suffering a serious hamstring injury. As Dallas looks to win their second straight division title, Steele has become a crtical part of an offensive line in rebuilding mode.
