Texas Tech football: Where to find Red Raiders in the NFL this season
Sam Eguavoen, LB, Miami Dolphins
Eguavoen seems to have found a stable home in Miami after spending the first part of his career in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He came to the Dolphins in 2019 and has continued to battle for a roster spot. He made the 53-man roster after a standout preseason in which he recovered a fumble for a touchdown against Tampa Bay. According to the Dolphins’ depth chart on their site, Eguavoen enters the year as the backup linebacker behind Elandon Roberts. Look for him to fight for reps as a rotational player in this linebacking corps.
Erik Ezukanma, WR, Miami Dolphins
Ezukanma was taken in the fourth round by the Dolphins in this year’s draft. With receivers like Jayden Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Cedrick Wilson on the team, Ezukanma enters the season buried on the depth chart. Currently, he’s listed as third string on Miami’s website depth chart. The rookie, who had his share of standout moments at Tech, is not expected to contribute much right away but Miami is hoping Ezukanma can be a piece of this team’s future.
