Iowa State will reach the title game

Outside of Kansas, the one program that seems most at home in Kansas City is Iowa State. With Ames being just a 3.5 hour drive down to K.C., the dedicated Cyclone fans always seem to show well at the Big 12 Tournament.

That will certainly be the case this year given that Iowa State is going to enter the tournament as one of the favorites to win it all. The Cyclones are currently second in the conference standings and they still have an outside shot to overtake Houston (though Houston does hold the tiebreaker via a head-to-head win).

Look for the Cyclones to ride their wave of support from the stands into another Big 12 Tournament Championship Game. That will be the fifth time they have done so in the event but the first time since 2019.

This Iowa State team is deep and talented. It also plays rugged defense and can come at teams in waves. That will make them a tough out in K.C. and that's why the Cyclones will make a run into the Big 12 Tournament title game.
