The Texas Tech Lady Raiders and the Arizona State Sun Devils are entering the final game of the 2026 women’s basketball regular season with a chance to build some momentum entering the 2026 Big 12 women’s basketball championship tournament.

Which would obviously be very helpful for either of these teams as they continue to build their resumes ahead of the NCAA Tournament.

This game is important for both teams here. So, as we get set to see Krista Gerlich lead the Lady Raiders into the regular season finale, let’s go ahead and get a little more familiar with what these teams look like and how they compare to one another so far this season.

Texas Tech vs Arizona State by the stats: Prepping for the final regular season game of the 2026 season for the Lady Raiders

Texas Tech’s offense has been a bit more productive, but not drastically so. The Lady Raiders are averaging 73.1 points per game while Arizona State is putting up 67.5 points per game. There’s not really a drastic or alarming offensive issue for either team involved in this game.

But, it’s absolutely noteworthy that Texas Tech’s point margin is +14.8 points per game while Arizona State’s is just 60.5. It’s clear that the Lady Raiders are capable of putting pressure on opposing teams.

Texas Tech is hitting 44.9 percent of its shots from the field and then draining 7.8 three per game while making 34.7 percent of their three point attempts. Arizona State, on the other hand, is making 42.9 percent of its shots from the field and then just 4.5 threes per game while shooting 29.1 percent from behind the three point line.

If Texas Tech can make this a shootout, then the Lady Raiders can probably expect to win. They’re the better shooting team and that is meaningful. We’ll see how things pan out though.
