Three days of the highest level of college softball action have wrapped up. We’ve seen a couple of teams eliminated and we’ve seen a couple more teams inch closer to elimination. Meanwhile, teams like the Texas Tech Red Raiders (of which there are truly few teams that are anything like the Texas Tech Red Raiders) are still unbeaten in the 2025 Women’s College World Series.

Saturday afternoon’s games didn’t send any new teams home from Oklahoma City, but it did put the UCLA Bruins and the Oklahoma Sooners on the verge of being sent home. That’s because the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Texas Longhorns managed to beat the Bruins and Sooners.

And that’s setting up a pretty intriguing situation in the 2025 Women’s College World Series. We’re seeing a very unique set up as we could theoretically get a 100 percent Texas Women’s College World Series if things continue to move in the direction that they are.

Which, you know, that’d be pretty cool.

Let’s go ahead and take a look at the current state of the 2025 Women’s College World Series bracket after the Red Raiders’ win over the Bruins and UT’s victory over OU.

2025 Women’s College World Series bracket update: How do things look after Texas Tech took care of business vs. UCLA?

With the loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the UCLA Bruins' move on over to the elimination bracket side of the Women’s College World Series will set them up to face off against a Tennessee softball team that looked ridiculously ready to play against the Florida Gators on Friday.

Elsewhere on the bracket, we’ll get to see how much rest the Oregon Ducks got after their late night game against the Ole Miss Rebels as they get the chance to meet up with the Oklahoma Sooners following OU’s loss to the Texas Longhorns.
