The 2025 Texas Tech football season will get underway before you know it. We’re about a month out from the Red Raiders getting the season started. Folks, I don’t know about y’all, but this offseason has flown by (which is a good thing) and we’re just a handful of weeks away from getting to see what Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders can accomplish this season.
There are plenty of reasons to look forward to this particular Texas Tech football season.
Whether it’s the fact that the Red Raiders have overhauled their defense in hopes of being considerably better on that side of the ball, the hirings of Mack Leftwich and Shiel Wood as offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator respectively, or just the simple fact that college football is just about back once again.
Plenty of reasons to get excited about what this season could hold for the Red Raiders.
And hey, maybe wearing the same color as everyone else in a football stadium is something that excites you. If that’s the case, when Texas Tech gets the season started, be sure to pull out some red.
Texas Tech football fans asked to wear red when the Red Raiders kick off the 2025 season against Arkansas-Pine Bluff
It’s great that this is even something we get to talk about. I mean, college football is right around the corner and the Red Raiders have a solid marketing plan to help enhance fan experience this fall. That’s such good news.
If you want to know what to expect from this game, you’re not alone. I suspect the Red Raiders will be eager to showcase a few new wrinkles with playcalling on offense while the defense gets a chance to highlight new additions to the roster.
But that’s just me spitballing and guessing. I really don’t know. What I do know is Texas Tech fans will need to wear red. Oh, and this is the first ever meeting between the Red Raiders and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. I do know that.
