10. Texas Tech Blankets UTEP

The memory of 2014’s near-disaster in El Paso was fresh on the minds of many Texas Tech fans when UTEP came to visit for the annual Celebrate Cotton game. However, the end result would be far from the same as Mahomes threw for four touchdowns and rushed for a pair more as Texas Tech throttled the Miners at home.

The team’s offense had been a giant question mark up to this point in the season, and a mediocre showing against Sam Houston State a week prior hadn’t done much to change those thoughts.
