Basketball for everyone! The Big 12 is going to be busy on Saturday and MArch is right around the corner. So, as the regular season continues to wind down, it’s going to be important to keep up with how everything is breaking down across the conference.
Especially since there are so many teams at the top of the Big 12 this season that are hoping to make deep runs in the NCAA tournament this season. There’s a ton of talent all over the place for this conference and we get to witness another sampling of that today with eight different Big 12 basketball games taking place.
Grant McCasland and the Red Raiders will obviously have their hands full with one of the highest ranked teams in the country, but what else is taking place today? Let’s go over that.
Big 12 basketball schedule guide - Saturday, February 28, 2026: What you need to know to keep up with college basketball today
Here’s what the Big 12 basketball schedule looks like today (obviously the biggest game of the day involves the Red Raiders, and unfortunately that game is taking place in Ames, Iowa instead of Lubbock, Texas):
- Colorado vs Houston - 11 a.m. - Houston, Texas
- Oklahoma State vs Cincinnati - 1 p.m. - Cincinnati, Ohio
- Utah vs Arizona State - 2:30 p.m. - Tempe, Arizona
- Texas Tech vs Iowa State - 3 p.m. - Ames, Iowa
- Kansas vs Arizona - 3 p.m. - Tucson, Arizona
- BYU vs West Virginia - 4:30 p.m. - Morgantown West Virginia
- TCU vs Kansas State - 5:30 p.m. - Manhattan Kansas
- Baylor vs UCF - 7 p.m. - Orlando, Florida
While Texas Tech certainly has the biggest game of the day, there are a few other teams and games that I’m intrigued by. The Houston Cougars are trying to end a three game losing skid and they’re returning home to the Bayou City to attempt that. Then there’s the Kansas matchup with Arizona that could be pivotal for a team like Texas Tech if things go right.
