Though Utah was an NIT semifinalist in 2024, the Utes were just 9-11 in PAC 12 play this past season. They'll likely find life in the Big 12 even more difficult.
2023-24's leading scorer, center Branden Carlson has graduated. What's more, last season's fourth-leading scorer, Rollie Worster has left via the portal.
So far, the Utes have added only three three-star transfers to the program. That's not going to be enough to cut it in the NCAA's toughest conference.
